Aboard Sengo – October 2015

We were still in the ‘Whitsunday’s’ in October; visiting some anchorages we were familiar with, and some that were new. We spent more time snorkelling this month than previously and we are learning to recognise different types of fish by sight.

I’d never thought I’d admit this after all those months of stating we are still too cold and still too far south – but it is getting a bit too hot. Even the locals in the Airlie Beach area are starting to feel it, several stating in the final week of October that Summer seems to have arrived – although most places we walked into seem to have their air conditioners set too cold and the occupants were wearing jackets inside! I think it may have to do with the humidity – it is suddenly quite noticeable. As a result we have decided it is time to head south. Enjoy Aboard Sengo October 2015. (The file is 3Meg)
