We are finding that hiding from strong winds is a regular occurrence these days and September had its fair share of them. The decision to buy a new anchor had been brewing but was finally made after a few frustrating moments (see page 4) and our salt water pump issue for the anchor wash down pump was solved with a standard hose fitting from ‘Bunnings.’ (fingers crossed). Rainforest walks and snorkeling were my highlights of the month. The saddest part of September was saying farewell to a whole bunch of fellow cruisers who have been such a big part of our lives over the past few months; they have started their migration south we don’t know when we will see them again.
The following link from the website of the ‘Whitsundays Marketing and Development’ group should give you a map that will help you recognise some of the places I’ve listed in this newsletter – at least the major islands http://www.tourismwhitsundays.com.au/attractions/ngaro-sea-trail/
Enjoy Aboard Sengo – September 2015. The file is about 3.5 meg.
