As far as nautical miles go, in November Sengo traveled about two (that’s less than 5 kilometres!) – and all of that was under motor. After two weeks on the hard, we were looking forward to getting back into the water. A brief overnight stop at the Fremantle Sailing Club however turned into two weeks (for various reasons, not the least of which was the occasional ‘Strong Wind Warning’) and we saw out November playing ‘tourist.’ Enjoy Aboard Sengo November 2017. Sounds like your weeks off sailing were well spent exploring Fremantle! At least you would have got some exercise walking everywhere. Good to see a photo of Tiger on the tools!
Hi Chris. Yes, after essentially no exercise coming down the coast I relished walking every day…and from the Sailing Club practically everything in Fremantle is within walking distance (although we did often bus it the couple of kilometers into town and walk back). Now if I could only convince Tiger to try and be more dextrous and use them…he could help with the continuing list of odd jobs…
Another great read Trish. Nice to see Tiger ‘on the tools’. 😉
Thanks, Sue. …I’d like to think he is at least trying to look the part of ‘man around the house’ to get my attention, now there is only one female and two males on this boat…alternatively of course he could just like the feel of a lumpy bed!
