Aboard Sengo – July 2017

Surveyors Creek

This month we learnt to be flexible. July was essentially a month of changing plans and sometime during a day Plan A through to Plan F may have feasibly been considered depending on the circumstances. This was our second month in the Kimberley, and apart from a couple of exceptions, we were predominantly still searching out the natural and aboriginal cultural features of this vast area. However, because of the location of The Kimberley, its position and  remoteness, there is  quite a lot of European and modern Australian history scattered and abandoned along this coast as well. Perhaps we can explore this further on our next visit. Enjoy Aboard Sengo July 2017. (The file is 8.3 MEG).

  1. Hi Trish,
I am so jealous. You would be toasty warm whilst I am shivering in front of the fireplace.

    The photos look amazing.

I am hanging out for summer and our beach holiday.

    Keep safe

    Xx. Cheryl

    • Hi Cheryl. lovely to hear from you! I defiantly don’t envy you shivering in front of a fire, but I can say that perhaps it has been a bit too hot up here. There is such a contrast between Melbourne and WA/NT weather in winter! Having said that your beach holiday in summer may just be warmer than what we’ve been experiencing. xxx Trish

    • Thanks Lisa, When you do, note that I would have loved to have included more photos (to add to my daily waffle) – but restricted the number due to size. If you do get a chance to get back here, I know you will love the Kimberley.
