October’s Aboard Sengo newsletter is back to diary form and I am afraid there is a fair bit of it. This month we did a fair bit of sailing, a fair bit of fishing and a small amount of walking. We explored islands and trolled rivers. October is generally ‘build up’ month in the tropics and the days are getting hotter and muggier. Enjoy aboard-sengo-october-2016. (The file is 7.1Meg).

  1. Hi Trish and Andrew, Looks wonderful. Great memory about ‘Under the Sea’. I can’t believe it has been so long. Kelly

  2. Glad you enjoyed your Fairfield Shiraz. My first Ohlin ancestor in Australia settled in Rutherglen, and helped establish the first vineyards. More recently, my great grandfather Ohlin was the vineyard manager at Fairfield. Sad that it, and all the rest of the Morris wineries have closed. Sounds like you have had a bit more success with the fishing.

    • Hi Sue. I am clearly out of the winery loop; I had no idea the Morris wineries had closed down. We still have a half bottle of Morris Tokay and when we open it we will have to make sure it is appropriately savoured. As for the fishing, I think our luck has definately changed…and I am looking forward to a more fruitful activity..however my preference is for anything but shark! Cheers Trish
