In March Sengo was still moving east – as efficiently as possible. The aim was to get to Esperance to wait for a weather window to head across the Great Austraian Bight. Some boats already there had been waiting for months. We were lucky…our wait wasn’t that long. Enjoy Aboard Sengo March 2018 (10 Meg)
You must be relieved to be underway again and spotting places to come back to! 600 miles is such a huge distance! Stunning sunset photo at the start of your newsletter btw.
Thanks, Chris. The light was glorious that evening. We are very glad the conditions for crossing The Bight were so mild. There are a few shorter options for crossing The Bight but traditionally most people head to Port Lincoln in one go…which is even further!
thanks for sharing Trish. Lovely to see pics of your smiley face and stunning sunset photos.
Thanks, Dawn. The sunset at Emu Point was particularly vivid.
