Aboard Sengo – February 2017

East Gippsland Water Dragon

After leaving house renovating in Melbourne we deliberately spent several days resting in Mallacoota before starting to curve northward. This month’s Aboard Sengo is shorter than previous months but about as big as I’ve included more photos – the file is 6.9Meg. Enjoy Aboard Sengo February 2017.

    • Thanks Chris. I get the feeling that the entrance is very shallow and the sandbanks are continually moving…even some of the literature says the entrance is unreliable – although apparently in times gone by (before the land was cleared causing silting of the waterways) sailing ships went some way upstream to collect timber. We haven’t yet stopped at Gabo; I guess that will be reliant on the right weather conditions. Cheers Trish
