‘It’s been a while,’ they all but cried
‘She’s been gone two months, has she not tried
To concoct the story of her new life?’

Apple Mac stopped in its tracks
Grey screen of death – has held her back
On borrowed time she grabs a chance
To inform the crew of her latest dance.

The simple things are now not so fast
On this life on water – not like the past
Shopping Centres were ten minutes away
Now shopping trips take all day
