Aboard Sengo – December 2023

The aim was to be in Port Phillip Bay by the start of the Festive Season. We did make it. But we were very weather dependant – and not in a good way. There was very little pure sailing during the month – a great frustration for those on a sailboat. We managed to slip a few enjoyable off-boat activities in for the month – but once we had started our journey south there was no ‘relaxing cruising’ to be had. We started the month in Kur-ring-gai Chase National Park, New South Wales. We ended the month, as planned, in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. The month’s diary notes are grammatically a bit mixed up – some days have been written in present tense, some are written in past tense, and some are possibly written with a bit of both. As I am a little late (and impatient), in getting these notes on-line, I make no apologies for this editorial confusion. The file Aboard Sengo December 2023 is 7.8 meg.
