Aboard Sengo – August 2023

A Mast At Last! But there was no time to casually celebrate. After around seven (long) weeks of hanging around Morton Bay and the Gold Coast we were desperate to move; not only because we wanted (had expected) to be further up the coast this time of year, but because we had a timeline – a dreaded concept for those living on a boat. August’s diary notes don’t take up much space. Firstly, because our being ‘aboard Sengo’ only took up half the month and, secondly, because the days we were on board we were either finalising bits and pieces after major work, or we were travelling north in order to meet a deadline. There was very little relaxing in this month; the two days in Lady Musgrave Lagoon appreciated but didn’t quite turn out to be as expected. Aboard Sengo August 2023 is less than 1 MEG.
