The well-fed Portland Mascot

For reasons I may or may not explain in February’s newsletter, I have been a bit distracted for the past couple of weeks so apologise for the lateness of January’s newsletter. We have been continuing our road trip and at the end of the month found ourselves in the outskirts of Melbourne, Victoria. Whilst we may not be suffering the uncomfortable humidity that Darwin is experiencing, and Sengo is getting drenched, we have had our own weather shocks; the overnights in some places have had temperatures in the singe digits.
